Legal & Policies
Disclosures, terms, and safety.
This page is a plain-English policy hub for Abra Day Trading. It is not legal advice, and it should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before launch or paid use.
Terms of Service
Educational software, not trading advice.
Abra / Day Trading provides educational content, notes, videos, practice questions, simulated chart reps, paper-trading planning, mistake review, progress tracking, and calendar tools. The platform does not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, brokerage advice, trade signals, copy trading, managed accounts, or personalized recommendations.
By using Abra, you are responsible for your own decisions, trades, account settings, broker selection, order entry, risk limits, taxes, and compliance obligations. You agree not to treat any content on the platform as a command, recommendation, or promise to buy, sell, short, hold, or trade any financial instrument.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Abra is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, platform outages, third-party service failures, user errors, broker issues, data inaccuracies, or decisions made outside the platform. A formal attorney-drafted Terms of Service should include governing law, arbitration or dispute process, limitation of liability, indemnification, account termination rights, acceptable use, and payment terms.
Privacy Policy
What data the platform may collect.
Abra may collect account information such as name, email, authentication status, subscription status, referral status, and user preferences. The app may also store training progress, quiz attempts, missed-question history, notes, calendar preferences, checklist activity, XP, streaks, and other learning analytics.
Payments are handled by Square or another approved checkout provider. Abra should not directly store full card numbers. Payment processors may collect billing details, card verification information, device data, fraud-prevention signals, and subscription records according to their own policies.
Data may be used to operate the platform, personalize learning, prevent trial abuse, maintain subscriptions, improve curriculum, troubleshoot bugs, protect accounts, and communicate service updates. A final Privacy Policy should explain data retention, deletion requests, cookies/local storage, analytics, third-party processors, GDPR/CCPA rights if applicable, and contact instructions.
Trading Risk Disclosure
Trading can cause serious financial loss.
Day trading, short selling, margin, leverage, options, futures, crypto, forex, and active speculation involve substantial risk. You can lose some or all of your capital. In leveraged products, losses may exceed deposits. Trading may not be suitable for every person.
No content on Abra guarantees profitability, funded-account approval, income, win rate, expected value, account growth, or improved trading results. Past examples, chart screenshots, curriculum examples, practice results, backtests, simulated trades, or educational statistics do not predict future performance.
Only trade with risk capital you can afford to lose. Consider consulting a licensed financial professional, tax professional, attorney, or broker before making financial decisions. If trading causes stress, compulsive behavior, or financial harm, stop trading and seek appropriate help.
Simulated Performance Notice
Paper trading is not live trading.
CFTC Rule 4.41 Notice HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT ACTUALLY BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER-OR-OVER COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.
Paper trading and replay practice can help build process, but they do not perfectly reproduce live fills, partial fills, market impact, execution speed, news events, halts, platform outages, broker restrictions, psychological pressure, or real capital risk.
No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to examples shown on Abra.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Digital subscription access and billing support.
Abra Plus is a digital subscription product. Square or another approved checkout provider may process checkout, card verification, subscription renewals, cancellations, receipts, failed payments, and billing portal access.
Unless required by law or approved case-by-case by Abra support, subscription charges are generally non-refundable after digital access has been delivered. Users should cancel before the next renewal date if they do not want to be charged again. Refund timing, card-network processing, and bank posting delays may be handled by Square and the user's card issuer.
Chargebacks, disputed payments, failed payments, suspected abuse, or refunded subscriptions may result in paused or terminated access. A qualified attorney should review this policy before launch in each market where Abra is sold.
Subscription Terms
Paid access and trial access.
Trial users may receive limited curriculum access. Paid Abra Plus users may receive access to the full curriculum, progress tracking, calendar tools, notes, chart reps, referral features, and other product features that are active at the time of subscription.
Features may change over time as the platform improves. Subscription terms should explain renewal, cancellation, taxes, payment failures, trial abuse prevention, referral eligibility, account sharing restrictions, and what happens when a subscription ends.
Third-Party Content & Services
External tools have their own rules.
Abra may link to or reference third-party platforms including YouTube, TradingView, Square, brokers, prop firms, and educational creators. Those names, videos, thumbnails, trademarks, services, and policies belong to their respective owners.
Links and references do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, accuracy, availability, or responsibility for third-party content. Users should review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party service they use.
Eligibility
Minors need parent or guardian involvement.
If a user is under the age of majority where they live, a parent or legal guardian should review and accept any binding terms, payment obligations, subscription terms, and financial-risk disclosures. Trading accounts, broker accounts, payment accounts, LLC setup, bank accounts, and enforceable contracts may require an adult legal signatory.
